As many teachers have observed and students have stated, writing is one of the four basic skills that students have the most difficulty with while learning a foreign language. The limited duration of the lesson and the fact that speaking and reading-based activities take place more in language teaching puts the acquisition of this skill in the background. In addition, it is a known fact that writing skills are not as important as other skills in the foreign language teaching program and necessary activities are ignored.
The reason that the students do not have the equipment to do some writing activities can also be counted among the reasons put forward by the relevant course teachers.
The aim of this activity is to provide our students with effective writing skills at the desired level. While simple correspondence studies such as e-mail and letter writing are carried out from the beginner level, we prepare our students for writing by doing advanced level articles and similar writing activities.
We not only support the language acquisition process, but also enable them to achieve success in the writing exams that they may take later in their lives.
